M&S Sponsors Local Charity Football Team – And They Won!
They Won!
M&S Windows proudly sponsored a young, inspiring football team recently for their Torbay Regatta Charity Football Tournament. The boys and girls in red wore their M&S sponsored kits with pride to not only win the tournament but also raise over £3,500 for local charities in and around the Torbay area.
The M&S team in the under 10’s played as England and were represented by Stoke Gabriel, the Under 11’s also played as England and were represented by local football team Kingsteignton.
The event took place on Paignton Green in Devon and all-in-all was a huge success, with various events and activities on throughout the day including of course the football tournament which, did we mention, we won?!
Here at M&S we are proud to support our local community, buying locally whenever we can (including a LOT of lunches and coffee’s) and offering discounts on our products to local businesses are just a couple of the things we do to keep our beautiful little community thriving.
