A* Rating Now Available
In line with the new energy efficiency standard, we at M&S Windows will of course be offering the newly created, and already sought after ‘A*’ rating.
The new ‘A*’ rating is the equivalent to the BFRC’s ‘A+’.
The new rating is already available in our 2800 Decorative series and will be available in our 2500 Chamfered series within 4 weeks.
BFRC Chairman, Giles Willson says:
The availability of the BFRC ‘A*’ rating band allows manufacturers to offer the most energy efficient product to homeowners, It also allows the most technically advanced producers to benefit from the marketing opportunities derived from BFRC ratings and being among the first in the industry to offer ‘A+’ windows”.
A a re-design of the internal chambers on the 2800 system, changing from 3 to 4 chambers, means we can now offer the A* rating without the need for complicated glass specifications. The rating is not limited to the white profiles either, the entire range has been redesigned to allow for A* ratings in any of the COLOURexpress range.
